Saturnia

Cradle of the Italic civilization, Etruscan and Roman town, suggestive medieval castle, today a lively village part of the municipal district of Manciano. The village has a thriving economy deriving from a well-launched agriculture, from cattle-breeding, from the travertine caves, from commerce, but mainly from the hot springs with its sulphureous water of 37.5°C. The open character of the inhabitants, the initiatives that are planned and proposed frequently by them make Saturnia the most vivacious center of the area.
